Baccarat is usually played with eight standard decks of cards. Each card is worth its face value with Aces counting as 1 and face cards being worth zero. Suit makes no difference. Play begins by all of the players at the table betting either on the player, banker, or a tie. Although they are called the player and banker, these are just other players at the table and the deal gets passed around just like at a craps table.
Once all the bets have been placed, the dealer will give two cards each to the player and to the banker. The score of the hands are then tallied. This is done by using the right digit of the total of the cards. Fer example, if the two cards were a pair of 7’s, then the total would be 14, and the score would be a 4 because ye drop the tens place and only count the ones place. The scores will always range from 0 to 9 and there is absolutely no chance to bust.
If either the player or the banker has a total of an 8 or a 9 they both stand. This is called having a natural hand. If the player’s total is 5 or less then the player hits, otherwise the player stands. If the player stands, then the banker must hit on a total of 5 or less. If the player does hit then use the chart below to determine if the banker hits (H) or stands (S). visitez le site
The final score of the player’s hand and the banker’s hand are then compared against each other. Whichever hand has the highest value is the winning hand. Ties are counted as ties. If ye bet on the banker ye win the amount of yer bet but ye are charged a 5% commission from the casino. If ye bet on the player then ye are paid the amount of yer bet. If ye bet on a tie ye are usually paid 8 times yer bet. So if ye bet $10 on a tie ye would be paid $80 plus get yer $10 bet returned.
